Glasgow Wedding Photographer
Glasgow wedding photographers are really lucky to have plenty of cool venues in town! I am sharing today photos from one of my favourite weddings this year. Debi & Graham booked their wedding last minute, which proves my theory that you don’t need to plan a wedding far in advance to have an amazing day.
Montrose St Registry Office
I really enjoyed meeting this lovely family who got married at the Glasgow City Chambers. Debi was walking down the aisle by her 2 year old son – how cute is that! After an intimate wedding ceremony we walked to the Sloans for a reception. The couple had invited 20 of their nearest and dearest friends and family. It’s really easy to take great wedding photos of a couple who is so happy on their wedding day. There are many great spots around the venue which make lovely background for a photoshoot. For example plenty of murals that Glasgow is famous for!
Micro wedding at the Sloans
The evening got a bit busier when more guests joined to celebrate with the couple. I don’t often work in the city but whenever I visit it is always a positive experience. People make Glasgow, they say. Until this day I didn’t know that micro weddings are so great. Sloans is a great space for small weddings with two floors of spaces suitable for hire. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate 100 guests for a ceremony/meal and further 50 for dancing. And Sloans is dog friendly too!
