Community hall wedding in Crail
New wedding season has already started for me but I still have many beautiful wedding stories from last year to share. One of them is Cory & Joshua’s wedding near St Andrews.
American bride & English groom have met while studying in St Andrews . They live together in a village of Crail so it was a perfect location for a wedding. I have already visited the harbour while doing engagement session for Ashleigh & Paul so knew how amazing place it is. So I was very exited about doing wedding photography in Crail. Cory & Josh were a perfect couple every wedding photographer wants to work with. They arranged everything with a great detail ( with help from awesome suppliers – see the list below ) but were pretty relaxed on the day. They cared a lot about spending time with their guests who came all the way from England & United States.
Village hall decor rustic inspiration
In the morning of the wedding I went to Crail Community Hall to take photos of decorated venue, it looked pretty amazing. Rustic furniture was provided by Virginia’s Vintage Hire with vintage tableware from The Green Cockatoo, all beautifully decorated with flowers. The couple surprised their guests with unusual catering arrangement – some of the guests were involved in serving the meal provided by Wild Rover mobile kitchen.
Wedding photos in Crail
Wedding ceremony took place at Crail Parish church. The most emotional moment for everyone was seeing the bride walking down the aisle with her dad. My favourite part was doing a short session with bride & groom – we found beautiful field behind the community hall. Cory & Josh were so easy to work with that we did another shoot in the evening in the little garden outside the hall.
