Summer wedding at the Prestonfield

F&N’s summer wedding at the beautiful Edinburgh venue was relaxed and full of small moments that made the day feel uniquely theirs. They travelled from Switzerland for their micro wedding and chose Prestonfield for their celebrations. Planning a wedding from abroad isn’t always easy, but they handled it with calm and patience. They kept things simple, trusted their venue and stayed focused on what mattered. In the end, everything came together beautifully.

An indoor ceremony created a cosy, welcoming atmosphere for their closest family and friends. Right after the vows, they went straight into their first dance, which felt spontaneous and genuinely joyful. The sunshine made it easy to move outside for the drinks reception, where everyone enjoyed the fresh air. We used bubbles instead of confetti as an eco-friendly alternative. For wedding photos, we made the most of the grounds, using the greenery and open space to capture the summery feel of their day.

The bride looked incredible in her modern gown by Sonnia Geiger. It had a simple shape, and the big bow on the back made it feel special without being too much. The style suited her perfectly and matched the relaxed, elegant feel of their small wedding.

I am looking forward to sharing more weddings from this season, which also includes an intimate wedding in Gran Canaria.
